Does anyone remember this question from a few days ago?

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AkI_n...

...Because it sure sounded like that was what McCain said he was going to do tonight! Renegotiating a loan to reflect the homes value is the same as lowering the principal. Pretty much sounds like exactly what the person who wrote that question was complaining about right?

I did not see that question, but I am sure most republicans did not see McCain getting ready to hit them in the face with that idea.

It makes more sense than letting the market get flooded with even more foreclosed homes so that NO ONE will live in them for 10 to 15 years. Does that sound better? Nope.

I agree with that. Biden agreed with it. McCain agrees with it. You know what? When everyone agrees its probably a good idea.

I know you don't agree with it, but logically its what's probably going to be done to stop the bleeding.

Or start building homeless villages around the nation. Does that make more sense? How about bread lines? Does that make more sense?

I think it's a good idea. We can't let more and more homes go into forclosure. I am all for working with people to let them keep their homes and with the economy the way it is, when would it end?

  • He said adjust rates to what the value of the home is now- much lower. The person asked how can people keep their homes. McCain will provide more jobs for the economy with his plans. Obama will only make people lose jobs and lose more homes!!

I wouldn't support it and wouldn't care who's mouth it comes from. I think it's a bad idea. period. why reward people who have over-extended themselves? whether it be joe homeowner, or corporate head honcho. doesn't matter.
