Car heater not working all the time?

The heater on my car seems to work for a bit, then stop. The blower is good, but sometimes its warm air, then it gets cold. 1994 Mustang. Any thoughts?

on some cars, you can find a control valve that will shut off the flow of coolant through the heater core. i do not know if a 94 stang is set up like this but that valve could be sticking or internally blocked. check that out and you could find a simple solution. just fallow both of the heater hoses to the heater core and to the block and water pump. it should be in the one from the pump i think.
