Behr Deck Stain review?
I intend to remove existing stain, prepare the deck and restain using following BEHR Products:-
1) Behr 63-N Stripper
2) Behr 64-N clean and Prepare
3) Behr Semi transparent deck stain.
Has anyone used these and can you provide me your review on this? I am looking for something which will last close to 3 years on my one year old deck.
Thanks

I highly recommend DuraStain from Wolman. Check the studies, it works the best and last the longest.

Behr is a very good product. I don't like it so much for interior since I find it a little heavy for brushwork, but for exterior I'd use it any time. Had Behr solid colour stain on my last house and it looked good ten years later. I just used one of their semi-transparent stains on a customer's deck, a new one that is water-based and has nano-technology, sorry, can't remember the name. The deck was mostly weathered clean but still had some patches of the old stain left, and it ended up looking very good after one coat. We would have done two but the weather didn't co-operate. When it was dry the next day, water splashed on it just beaded up. It covered very well, went on easy, went pretty far for coverage, and that combined with Behr's reputation and my experience with their products will have me using it again.
