hi.
These diets like fish diet, apple diet and so on, do not work if you haven't proper nutrition and training regime. It is fish it is not magic pill.
I suggest you to eat fish, meat and eggs as protein sources. Diet results come when you reduce carbos and fats and start training.
May be that why they think it works. If your food is varied you will benefit much more.
I also recommend you too look at the list below:

I wouldnt recommend it since some fish have a higher mercury content than others. You should have fish about 3-4 times a week. Eat fish that is high in omega 3's such as salmon. Other things to add to your diet are eggs (preferably ones with omega 3's since omega 3's speed up metabolism and provide health benefits), spinach, tomatos, grilled chicken, whole grains, and fruit.

Including fish as a regular item in your diet is fantastic. Fish is one of the most healthy foods you can eat. Eating fish, and only fish, is not good. Too much of anyting is bad. Many types of fish contain high levels of mercury, so if you eat fish all day, every day... you get sick and die.
Eat fish often, as a regular part of a healthy balanced diet. And just fyi: if a diet has a name (unless its called the Food Pyramid), stay away from it. Balanced meals high in protien and complex carbs, in reasonalbe portions. and exercise.

Fish diet?
Never heard of it. Do you mean like the Sushi diet.
And if its like any other crash diet then no in the long run it wont work. as soon as you finish the diet you will put all the weight back on plus some.
