It depends on each individual. My mother has survived breast cancer twice and had to go through Chemotherapy and Radiation on both occasions.
She complained of acute nausea, but told me she never vomited.

my mom did when she was going thru chemo. she took this pill called Emend and it did WONDERS for her nausea. it was totally gone! it's a very expensive pill...my dad said it was like $1500 a pill, but if you have good insurance, they should pick up most, if not all that cost.

it depends where the cancer is.the tretment makes you sick though as i found out last year when having chemo and radiotherapy.

I didn't. It all depends on the type of chemo you are given, and how your body responds to it.
