Plasma or LCD TV screen?

On the grand scheme of things both are as about as green as each other and use the same power. Under certain conditions it is often quoted that Plasma tvs use more power but as for the whole Plasma or LCD debate this site http://plasmaorlcd.co.uk/ is good at answering that question. At the end of the day it depends on your viewing needs.

my advice to you : go for LCD

reasons:

very light and wall mountable

very economical, consume less current than plasmas

have more life than plasmas, last longer

no reflection from the screen

no image burn-in or ghosting like the plasmas

all in all, you get all the HD big screen experience in a great piece of art that we call 'LCD TV'

ok, all this talk above is to convince you to buy an LCD, go for LCD. go on LCD !!! plasma down down !!

LCD screens are lighter but & you can view from a wider angle, the power consumption is less than plasma, I have had both types & find the LCD to be better, they are also cheaper.

LCD is greenest and uses less power and now has better picture than Plasma but only available up to 50inches max.

Plasma is good for Bright fast mvoing scenes but is subject to burn in but does NOT do good colour definition or contrast.. LCD has better picture quality..

lcd is way better than plasma

and more viewing angle it almost support 170 degree which is called flatroon.

and some lcd tvs got upgrade version from the internet.

P is better in a dark room. LCD is a lot brighter (their back lit) P will use more power. Look for a Energy saving recommended LCD is my opinion ....

I would personally go with an LCD.

dont know about power and you cant say which is better

currently when full HD they are almost the same

but look for specs like 100mhz full HD true motion and stuff like that and you should find the best

LCD, lighter energy effecient and looks brighter.
