how much to feed my son?
my son is 15 months and i know everyone says feed them till they stop but i honestly think my son will eat all day long and wont stop eating if i let him. He does eat healthy and i don't give him junk but he can eat an adult size portion of food. so my question is what should i do? should i just feed him till he stops or do what i have been doing where i give him meals that i think should fill him up?

I've found your instincts with regards to your son are pretty good. Do what is comfortable for you. Maybe feed him foods that fill him up until he stops? lol.
It could be he's going through a growth spurt. When my daughters hit their spurts, I have to almost double the grocery bill til it ended. Thank goodness they do it in different seasons, or we'd be homeless lol
*EDIT*
At that age they're supposed to be eating 3 meals and 3 hearty snacks a day.

I think you are doing the right thing. There is no right answers to many questions about babies and toddlers because there is so much advice out there that sometimes you don't know up from down. If you find he is happy with what you give him then I wouldn't change it. A parents instinct is usually right.

I would have him checked by his pediatrician. There are some diseases, such as type 1 diabetes, that can cause excessive hunger. He may just be going through a growth spurt, but it would be a good idea to talk with a doctor.

yes give him meals that you think will fill him up. you dont want him getting fat!!!! but just watch him and try and see that a small meal does not leave him starved.
