Switch test in progress, input 2 testing takes much longer than input one, on my 322, the tests take place at the same time.
I have a dish 522 DVR that is not detecting all satellites on input 2, i also have dish 322 and its detecting all satellites. I have tried two DP34 switches, two LNBF twins, and switching input cables and it has done no good. THe input 2 on the back of the 522 feels hotter than input 1. if i turn off the receiver several times i migth get it to work again, but its random. it will continue to work until the next time it needs to update. i suspect the 522 is going bad, anyone else have this problem?

as long as this is the same switch configuration you were using before the problems started, my opinion is that your receiver is malfunctioning. You can get a free replacement thru dish network if you carry the DHPP warranty on your account. if not call and add it, hang up and call back to have it replaced. Then in a couple weeks, and cancel it.
