Nystagmus and Contacts?
I was born with both congenital glaucoma and nystagmus, and I have always had to wear glasses. Would I be able to wear contacts? I've never really asked, but my mom always used to tell me no because the shaking eyes of the nystagmus would cause the lens to slip around to the back of my eye. Thanks

I don't know what in the world coffee is talking about partly because the grammar is almost beyond understanding and partly because what is being said (if I understand correctly) makes no sense to me. Neither glaucoma nor nystagmus should prevent you from wearing contacts. The lenses will not slip around the back of the eye. Also, most glaucoma medications are used once or at most twice a day. This would allow you to put the drops in before you insert the lenses in the morning and after you remove them at night.

in glaucoma case vision will be change at lest 6 month
and specially with the other problem (nystagmus)
wearing contact it not safety for optical field
glasses give you the constant field not contact
so keep in glasses wearing
