Why are we still paying such high prices at the gas pump?

Oil continues to drop, yet we're still hovering around 3.50 a gallon. It should be 2.50, or less by now....

We're still paying high price oil maybe because they have the stocks that they bought with high priced oil way-back months ago,so even the oil price is going down,we need to pay what they payed with what they payed with their stock on hand so that oil companies won't loss what they put up with the price they pay "I think."

Why do many blame "Big Oil" when our government takes more profit than the "big oil" company makes even though they are the one with the overhead?

Last time oil was this price per barrel (December of 07) gas was about $2.95. I am guessing we will be close to that soon.

Because the oil companies and big business want us to.

    They need the money..
