I don't think it sounds like it was written by someone who speaks english as a second language. It's actually very well written. The only things I would change are at the very beginning: The sound of the beeping ALARM woke her up. The bedroom was dark. Nothing but a little light that came through the blinds. Anna Stanley opened her eyes, feeling her head throb. How late had she been out the night before? She didn’t remember. She BARELY remembered anything.
