    Its the use of adrenaline-like medications to maintain the blood pressure and cardiac output above a certain level. Usually used in patients who might otherwise have too low blood pressure or go into shock.

    I don't at this point. It is something I have thought about since my parents had theirs done. If I were brain dead I would not want to be kept alive by artificial means if there is no hope for regaining conciseness. I am an organ donor so my being kept alive would only keep a person that could be saved from happening.

    Yes I do. It was ironic because my wife was saying everything would be fine. Then BTW we have a lawyers appointment the day before the surgery to do a will and a living will. It needed to be done.
