Why do I get "about:blank" instead of my proper home page?

I want my computer to go straight to yahoo7.com.au when it starts up but even though I've set that as my homepage it still says "about:blank" and gives me an empty page

    Go to tools-->options---> there will be a form and you can enter the URL for your new homepage.

    ALWAYS click "apply" then ok. The restart your browser. If you don't see apply, then just click ok.
