If Obama Wins the election,,,?
Will this mean the end to affirmative action, and any other program specific to advancing minorities.
I mean, if a minority can achieve the highest job on the planet, then there is no need for any of these programs.
Now this question may be deleted my Yahoo.. but this is a serious question, so I would like serious responses.

Obama being elected or not elected will have absolutely NO impact on affirmative action whatsoever. The Supreme Court already found affirmative action unconstitutional several years ago in a case brought up against the University of Michigan. The issue is dead, Obama or no Obama.

The highest job on the planet? Funny! For the sake of perspective: the U.S. president is very unimportant outside of the U.S., particularly so in well-developed countries.
As for your question, if your thinking were anywhere near correct, they would have abandoned affirmative action once the first black person became rich. One guy doesn't count if the whole race does not have equal opportunities.

Probably not. Just because ONE black person can do it doesn't mean anything. Remember the first female to be governor of a state was in the 1920s, but obviously that didn't mean that that job became open to women.
