Had a great Independence Day weekend. Proud Americans out celebrating this great country’s birthday. But.. as I drove by the beach today, I notice piles of beer cans and spent fireworks and other trash litter everywhere.

Is this the actions of people proud of their country and community.

The current population is about 305816144 and we have spent nearly6.5 trillion dollars on the bailouts.

Just give every house hold (about 117621593) a printer and allow them to print as much money as they can, in a 7 hour period.

I'm just wondering does any one else thing this is not going to be a good start to our new administration.

I didn't like that fact that the government took out a loan in my name and then gave the money to me and to other who don't pay taxes, so now I have to pay back both mine and theirs.

After reading over some of the stuff in here it seems the Dems are saying- He is the President so get over it.

I agree. He was legally elected using the process just like George Bush.

You expect me to fall in line behind Obama, I'm already there, ready to support and defend. Just one thing, when was the last time you fell in line behind our current president.

A friend of mine who lives in LA said that he's seen this so I've asked a few other people and they say they are preparing just in case

What policies/program can we not undo if we feel they are to costly, or just plain not right.

Whether a Obama or McCain support you should hope for the best, plan for the worst.

Will this mean the end to affirmative action, and any other program specific to advancing minorities.

I mean, if a minority can achieve the highest job on the planet, then there is no need for any of these programs.

Why haven't they rebranded their argument to something that everyone can get behind.

The other question, what in the "natural progression" of fuel economy of cars built today.

Cars in the 60's got about 5-8 MPG, card now get 20-45. Isn't this better that the reduction call for by Obama.

And I know people are proud of their countries in general all the time.

While People like 50 cent or who ever else makes millions upon millions. Shows like MTV's Cribs show the lavish life style the these people live. Have you changed your music or movie going habits based on this.
