How much of a stock market rally will occur if/when MCain/Palin wins on Nov 4th?

Yesterday, I asked how much will the stock market plummet if/when he wins on Nov 4th? I predicted 1000 point drop at LEAST.

I would say sense Mccain Actually understands what the market is for it will gain back all of the loses by Thanksgiving.

The market only goes down when they feel that a butcher is about to enter the market. Lets work together to make sure Hussine never gets near Ny.

no rally at all I predict a drop but not significant, since congress will be at last controlled by Dems , nit the fake control which they have right now.

Drop because McCain showed how much erratic he is in every plan he proposes , market needs stability not his behavior.

The market might get a temporary boost from either candidate. It's what happens in the long run that makes a difference. The market does not like McCain.

You're joking right? If McCain wins, the market will go up. Businesses are waiting to see if he is in there, because McCain wants to lower taxes on corporations, Obama wants to raise them. If you are a business are you going to spend more on improvements and expanding when your cost of taxes goes up? If you can do simple math in your head, no.

It's also why businesses go overseas. If the corporate tax rate in say Ireland is lower than the U.S. why wouldn't you build a factory there instead of here? U.S. has the second highest (to Japan) corporate tax rate in the world. Then we wonder why Budweiser was bought out by the Dutch...hmm.

If McCain gets in the market will gain back all the drop that occured while Obama was leading the polls and scaring the crap out of investors and business sector. In one day 600 -900 points at least. The bailout will start to work in few months and help to keep it up.

the stock market will continue to plunge until Saudi Arabia and China deem the prices low enough, and then they will buy all our companies in one big swoop.

Neither one of these candidates are going to do anything good for the economy. They're going to continue doing the same things over and over and expecting a different result (Einstein's definition of insanity). If you want something positive to happen to the economy, you should vote for a true fiscal conservative, like Bob Barr!!!

I think the market will rally no matter who wins. Just having the uncertainty ended will cause some confidence to return, no matter who the victor is.

    The market wants Obama.
