How do Independents feel they are better than Republican or Democrate?
What do they have to offer that I should change my vote.
Sorry but...thats what the dems and reps say. "we speak for the people". If Independents were in the mix...they would have to deal with the same politics...its the system that has the problems
I applaud a difference. But I wont change just to change. Independents dont show me much at all. But dont get me wrong....we should have more choices

I am not sure what you mean by "better than" but Independents generally are like most Americans and relate to people rather than a particular party.

I can't answer for independents. But Libertarians can at least point to the fact that they offer a consistent principled message. Which neither the Dems or reps can say.
That message is "Freedom" neither of the two big parties consistently support freedom. Although the Dems are almost consistently against it.

Independent isn't a choice of party, rather it's an abstention from that choice. And I don't know where this idea of "better than" came from. Independents will vote for whomever, they don't place one party as automatically better.
