What would be worse, a world without MUSIC or without TV?

Think on your personal life, without which you couldn't live?

Update:

Don't say both, choose one. I know it's hard.

I could not live without music!

I am a girl who loves to sing and dance. I love to sing songs with my favourite tunes and lyrics but... watching TV is simply something I can use to relax myself. Both music and TV enable myself to relax and I know for sure that without music, a television show has no meaning and it will not be at all interesting. Music alone can make us fly, let us think and imagine the best of our dreams. That is why I chose music. I simply can't imagine a world without music!

I guess music. An entire portion of your brain is devoted to music, making it very important to your mental health. Music can bring people together, pull them apart, communicate emotions and some can be understood universally. Television communicates a message or a story to the viewer. We have the internet, books, newspaper and radio to do things like this. Worldwide, everyone had music. Whether it's drumming your hands on a table or listening to a world renowned violinist. Creating a rain stick or assembling an entire orchestra. We have music worldwide. Many families, cities and even countries do not have TV. They're still around aren't they. I think we can survive without the talking box. Living without the rhythm of tapping your fingers, driving and listening to your favourite CD or 'rocking out' at a concert with your best friends would be unimaginable. TV is great and all, but you don't have to come home, sit down and watch TV. You'd still be complete without that giant thing in your living room. But, living in a world where you cannot find joy in hearing the buzz of traffic, the music of the kitchen and the togetherness of a crowd singing the national anthem would leave you empty. I don't think I could live without music.

A world without MUSIC would be worse! My reasoning: first, I just love music. Second, TV is really quite irritating lately & Music does have the power to soothe & relax.

A world without music would be infinitely times worse for me. I hate TV, and I really wish we didn't even have one. Whereas music is the reason I have any sanity at all.

I could live without Music and TV. All I need is my family and friends. If I didn't have them then I couldn't live.

It'd be worse without music - music is linked to so many special occasions, and it has more of an effect on my mood. I would really miss TV, though.

PS - hey, if you banned music, would you be banning music channels on TV as well?!
