    OK 3 questions

    1. Do you believe in God? yes ....Ive questioned my faith for more than 30 years but I can now answer this with a big ol' fat yes.

2.Did you grow up in a Christian home?

I grew up in a home where the kids were forced to church. It was a Christian church though

    3. what made you have faith? Made? nothing or no one. Ya cant be made to have faith...Its a belief process. No one preached to me to try to make me but a dear friend simply shared few stories on how she got her faith. How God answered her prayers. I could understand and without prejudice or logic I merely could relate how God was there my whole life when I thought He wasn't and how He was there when the best of life came through.

Now I can pray and get answers, whether I like them or not but they are being answered. He gives me hope and strength. Its truly an amazing feeling... a sense of hope or a feeling of just ....I guess...well being or security.

I believe there are powers which remain untapped which greatly influence us. Our conscience. But I believe these are already within our own selves. I am Buddhist - unlike Christianity which teaches to have us believe we are born with original sin, from the wayward behaviour of Adam and Eve in the Garden, we believe that we are born with Buddha Nature, which if untapped will cause our spirits to become enlightened through our behaviour on earth, very well founded in compassion.

I could not abide by the notion of a "God", who'd demand of me my loyalty or else. That is very narcissistic, and petty. And I will not live a live in fear that as a little child I must be led by a parental hand only, past my intellectual maturity.

    I was born to a Christian-Islamic parents.

Neither of these doctrines, did I accept past the age of 5.

Until late in my teens I had a generalized faith, but no religion, as I have no religion Now, rather have I spirituality, and what I have learned from the Buddhist philosophy.

Source(s): The need of my spirit to have a foundation which is of practical usage.

Yes, I believe in God. Yes, I grew up in a Christian home. Nothing made me have faith, but I have seen too many miracles not to have faith.

I do love God and HE loves me. I was raised in a christian home and how thankful I am that my parents lived out the Christian faith in front of me. I went to church as a child and adult. I came back to God after drifting for a long time. God kept After me until I finally gave my whole life and being to Him. I have faith because I have seen God at working in my life. the more hell I went through the more God came through for me. I have seen God perform miracle after miracle in my life and others.

God gave me something to live for!!

    I don't believe in a god.

My mother is a Christian, my father an atheist. I was taken to church every Sunday in childhood.

I don't have faith in a god. I have other beliefs, political and moral, just not in a god.

    No, I don't.

I went to a Catholic private school for three years though, and grew up the first 12-13 years of my life Catholic. Then I became Atheist, and now Theistic Satanist.

I was raised a Catholic, and have fond memories of Of St.Nicolas church near the farm I grew up on.My brother and my dad died less than a year apart. My faith really kicked in...I put myself through alot of needless pain...but that pain served a purpose. and I'm stronger for it.
