These are subjective opinions. These are what I consider to be low points, others may have differing opinions.

The Undertaker -- Taking part in that "stalker" storyline several years ago. The Undertaker is always praised for his professionalism, making his opponents "famous", and for looking out for the "boys". Basically, he's one of the most respected (by his peers) of all-time. Vince had just put WCW out of business and was in the process of trying to destroy WCW's "rasslers" credibility. DDP was a big-name in WCW. The "stalker" storyline ruined his credibility and DDP just faded away. The Undertaker had enough "backstage power" to nix that storyline but he didn't. 'Taker did not "look out for" a fellow wrestler on this one, he helped Vince end the man's career, whether or not that was his intention.

Shawn Michaels -- Not the "Screwjob". Shawn didn't have enough "stroke" to have any say in it. What still has repercussions even today was he and Marty Jannetty's "sex and drugs and rock & roll" attitude during the first parts of their careers. They were irresponsible, immature, and completely unprofessional. That was not acceptable to the veterans they were working with. Shawn still has a lot of heat with the "boys" because of this.

Triple H -- Being part of the infamous "MSG incident" where the Clique broke kayfabe in the middle of the ring, putting an end to any remaining doubt that pro wrestling is completely "scripted". He was punished by Vince, but that is nothing to what this incident did to pro wrestling. That incident proved, once and for all, that "wrestling is fake". Nobody believes any of it is real anymore; everything is just a storyline acted out by guys with big muscles.

Bret Hart -- His reaction to the "Screwjob". Bret, more than anybody, knows what a cut-throat business pro wrestling is. I sympathize with him, I really do, but his righteous indignation over that, basically cost him the rest of his career, and turned him into a very bitter man. He should have just sucked it up, took it on the chin, and moved on to Japan or another promotion, with a professional attitude and the skills that made him one of the all-time greats.

Jeff Hardy -- Immaturity. Since being separated professionally from his brother, Jeff is never far from trouble. He obviously needs Matt to keep him focused. He doesn't seem to able to do it on his own.

Edge -- His glaring mistake was the real-life drama between Matt Hardy, Lita, and himself that the WWE made into a soap opera storyline on TV. All three of them turned it into an embarrassing spectacle that did damage to all three of them. It contributed to Lita leaving the business, and Matt getting fired from the WWE. Edge, although a heel in the storyline, was unprofessional, and made the storyline personal. I lost a lot of respect for Edge during this.

Matt Hardy -- He wears his heart on his sleeve. He seems like a genuinely good person but the thing with Lita and Edge should never have been made as public as it was. Matt started the whole thing with his internet whining. Sure, it hurts to be rejected, but Matt went way too far. The whole thing was played out in public, and Matt got fired.

Randy Savage -- Obviously "screwing the boss' daughter" doesn't always help one's career.

Hulk Hogan -- Ego, pure and simple. He was the biggest star in the wrestling world and nobody knows it more than Terry Bollea. Prima donna, backstage bully, and more control over a promotion than any wrestler should ever have. Hogan's ego and control made him a lot of enemies.

Kurt Angle -- Hmm, Kurt doesn't really have a glaring fault. I would say "playing hurt" could be considered a fault. He doesn't take time to heal from injuries. This contributed to cutting short his WWE career and will cut short his wrestling career altogether. He's still one of the best wrestlers on the planet but he is not as agile or as quick as he was during his heyday in the WWE. "Playing hurt" is a cause.

Ric Flair -- I've written about this many times. When Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo were in charge of WCW they didn't want Flair in the company. "Too old, too behind the times, unmarketable" they thought. So they tried to destroy Flair in the most horrendous burial I've ever seen in my 41 years as a wrestling fan. They took him out of main events and title pictures and put him in demeaning embarrassing storylines designed to destroy his credibility as a performer, a wrestler, a man. They tried to turn his fans against him. Flair tried to make the best of a very bad situation, I applaud that. But he is RIC FLAIR, he should've told Bischoff and Russo to go to hell, and went to the WWF. He held on in WCW to the bitter end and left the promotion a beaten, broken man. It took him years to regain the "Nature Boy", years he could've been the big-name he was before Bischoff and Russo.
