How come I still can't let myself like someone?

Question

I've dated before, but none of them which i was really into because it was pretty much the girls asked me out. But the weird thing is that I never seem to be able to really like anyone. Even now I can't like anyone as if I am trying to repel the person i date. The girl I just dated broke up with me because she realized i was grwoing apart from her. 

So is this normal? Well, i am 17, not sure if that has any relationship. but i feel like it is really weird.

if you are a boy that a lot of girls like then its probably because you want a challenge. if your going out with girls that you feel nothing for in the first place its hard to get seriously involved. i am someone who has to be interested in someone first. if they ask me out something inside me just rejects them. unless you think your gay then i would just hold off getting into a relationship and then someone will come along that you will like first and be able to ask out. good luck

Maybe you haven't met the right girl.. I'm sorry if this offends you, but are you sure you aren't gay? I don't think you are though, but just find a girl youre really into. She'll be somewhere

Sometimes one needs to find themselves before being able to share with another....hang in there my friend and your chick will come along in due time...find out what you like to do and you will find your lady there! Good luck!
