In New york and NYC, can you get fired, or does the law allow, to get you fired if you go to jail for a night or two for small things, or if you commit DUI

I've dated before, but none of them which i was really into because it was pretty much the girls asked me out. But the weird thing is that I never seem to be able to really like anyone. Even now I can't like anyone as if I am trying to repel the person i date. The girl I just dated broke up with me because she realized i was grwoing apart from her.

So is this normal? Well, i am 17, not sure if that has any relationship. but i feel like it is really weird.

i am applying to University of North Carolina at Wilmington. This school has like 62% with 3.75 or higher, but only 5% with 3.0 to 3.2. i have a 3.1 average, but it is really hard to get a high grade in my school because every class is automatically honor level and my school also sends a letter to every school explaining about how hard we have to work to get it. my SAT is 710 in math and 520 in reading, also i have a lot of extracurriculars.

so any suggetsion?

i have been hearing a lot about growth hormone and if you get a shot of it, and it has some side effects. so i am just curious about what if you get it when you are still growing?

i have been going out with her for about a month and a half, then i realized that i wasn't really dating her because i like her but it was really that she was there for me and she told me she liked me a lot. and now i feel really guilty and i want to end it because it will be just hurting both of us if it keeps going on. but she used to be my good friend, and i don't want her to feel bad and lose this friendship. i know it's hard to keep the friendship, but i don't want to lose anyone because of that.

I have been always making quick breads (i.e. cupcakes) with butter. I know that vegetable oil is good too, and makes the cake more moist. However, butter has a really special scent and i thought that maybe I could mix melted butter and vegetable oil together. I know that melted butter can make it moist too, but I don't want too much fat in it since they are for little kids.

So is it alright to mix part butter and part vegetable oil? If it is, please tell me the ratio. Thank you!

so i just got this pretty nice acoustic guitar from my friend and she is nice enough to give it to me for free. and i am getting this acoustic/electric(dont know how you call it) guitar from my other friend for a good price. but the thing is i have tons of things to do in the summer like college stuff and college tours. so i wanna know some ways i can teach myself how to play a guitar, such as any good websites, books, or strategies, without taking a guitar lesson. any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

i am planning to learn guitar again in the summer since i stopped for almost six years (yeah i was 10 =[). so i wanna know some brands that have good guitars, like sound quality, and comfortable to use. i dont want it to be too expensive, under 350 would be okay. and also, would learning guitar at 16 be harder, or even difficult?

i hav thought about getting laser eye surgeries, and so i read about them. i found that if one has autoimmune disease, it is not very good to get them because you can get infections or negative side effects. well, i have eczema, and it is a kind of autoimmune diseases that affect your skin, i am not sure if this will affect me if i get my surgery, or if i am qualify for it.

i have two sweaters from AE, part cotton and part wool. today, wool starts falling off, and whenever i touch it, it faalls off more why is this happening? and how can i fix it?
