How do you decorate ceiling fan blades?
I want to decorate the fan blades in my children's room. I've seen some on ebay and other places but don't know how to do it. Any suggestions? I want them to look professional and am not an artist so I can't do murals.

Be careful when you do that. The fan blades are grouped to a very tight tolerance by weight at the factory. This is to keep the fan balanced as it runs. Adding weight to them could affect the operation of the fan. Good luck.

Ceiling fan blades are usually weighted and balanced with the fan motor at time of manufacturing, Don't upset the balance by adding any design to the blades. Fool around with the walls which are the places where children usually look.

take the blades off the fan. clean and sand them. give them a coat of primer and paint them the color you want. use appliques, stencils and stamp pads to decorate.
