If elected, will Obama ban guns? Can we trust his premises?

Question

Obama has promised that he will not ban guns, but whenever he makes such a promise, he always attaches qualifiers that negate his promise. I have seen him make the statement, "Don't worry, I won't take your guns, and even if I did, I don't have the votes." The problem is this, he may well have a condition in both the House and Senate where he has enough votes to block a filibuster. Under those conditions, I wonder if he will be able to restrain his past anti gun background and not violate the constitution.

Thanks to the Supreme Court ruling that the Second Amendment protects an individual right to have guns,  he will have to try a different approach than he has supported in the past..

He already tried to tie a gun ban to a global tax on Americans. Read the reference below and shudder.  


My prediction:

He will sign the UN SMALL ARMS TREATY.   It will get approved by the Senate if controlled by Democrats and he will use that as a means of end-running the Second Amendment.  The treaty,  supported by international gun grabbers such as Peters,  says all nations who sign the treaty must do everything it can to limit the manufacture, distribution and sale of guns to civilians.   And you can bet Obama will use that to the max to,  if nothing else,   stop the sale of guns in the USA.   

He is gun grabber.  Do not be fooled...

If all he does is confiscate guns I think we all may be happy. Do you know his claim that everyone under his tax plan will get a tax reduction? Well here are tthe facts: 
In 2010 he will let the Bush tax cuts expire. This will increase taxes on everyone who pays taxes. At least 20% of adult Americans pay no taxes so how do you give them a tax cut. I got it give them a welfare check and call it a tax cut. How smart. Now Obama can claim 95% of Americans will get a tax cut.
Plus quit worrying about guns. I am sick and *** tired of Republicans worried about guns while they sit back and let the stupid democrats ruin our economy with stupid redistribution of wealth schemes.

You need to read his *global poverty act* proposal.  In it is a section regarding guns, I do not think it will be to your liking though.
