With Boston, it was always expensive? I have to choose among several cities.?

I have been given the choice of Norwalk CT, Scranton PA, Wilkes Barre PA, Williamsburg, PA, Columbus OH, Lima, OH, Akron, OH, Omaha NE, Phoenix AZ? I was wondering if you knew any up and coming towns that were cheap, had a rent of under $800 per month, and were not likely to have mold. Thanks for all your help.

If I had the choice it would be Phoenix. Ahhh, no winter snow and ice storms.

I can't imagine anyone would want to voluntarily move to Omaha. I've been here for 53 years and would be out of here in a heartbeat if not for family in the area.

Oh, and for the mold issue, Omaha has mold. It is a very sultry, humid climate in the summer.

Phoenix wins hands down, just for climate alone, but also has a good economy and I would guess mold isn't an issue in a city in such an arid climate. Omaha would come in second for a booming economy. All the rest are rust belt cities, probably nice towns, but shaky economies.
