I only have disdain for those liberals who forego common sense in the name of poilitical 'correctness' and play on the idea that if you aren't anything other than a tofu-eating hemp-wearer, you are evil.

As for Bill Maher's 'Religulous', I can't see the problem. You may disagree with him, but surely you respect his right to free speech? And even if you don't...why would some 'heathen's' words affect you? You should be strong enough in your faith to withstand it...and compassionate enough to accept it.

Apparently most people with your mental capacity find comfort when everything is in black and white, or white for this matter. Liberals have a wide range spectrum of thought. You see it's easy to generalize when talking about conservatives because they have one mold but when you generalize about liberals it makes you look stupid.

Yes, when they say "tolerance" and "diversity", it really means that they want everyone to think just like them. I am at an advantage because I used to be a radical leftist, so I know how they think. So I sometimes feel disdain, but often just pity that they are woefully misinformed.

It's hard to understand whom you mean. Liberals are a more generalized group than conservatives. But it really doesn't matter.

It's too late to save the Republicans. The excess of greed and gleeful deregulation have doomed them to lose this election. The Bush administration has made a hash of this country and they and the rest of the Republicans can just sit down and chew on that for a while.

Actually his movie on religion is a humorous take on the "absolutism" that most religions convey. I'm not big on his style of comedy, but he is intelligent enough to present this topic in a comedic light.
