Carney has been kicking very well (he's 12 for 12 in field goals). As many in football believe in going with the hot hand (or foot), the only reason to change to Tynes would be if Carney struggles. They'll go with Carney until he gives them a reason to make a change; this will also give Tynes more time to recover as knee surgery is not a simple thing to come back from.
