Is Bush Bad in the long run?

If anyone has seen the movie Wilson's War, let me explain to everybody else what it's about:

Representative from Texas, 1978 -79. Afghanistan is being attacked by Russia (Cold War and everything). Afghanistan asks us for help. We give them guns, then we start training them, ans in the movie there is a clip of US training Osama Bin Laden.

We help them beat russia. We just trained a 3rd world country how to beat our greatest threat enemy with TECHNOLOGY and training. 1990 or so, This Charlie Wilson guy is given a medal.

But fast forward to 2001. Was it a good idea to really teach a 3rd world country how to fight?

So my question finally is, what if it turns out 20 years from now we find out that W might have actually done a lot of good while in office, will you think differently of him them?

Not as bad as Obama will be in the short or long run.

I think that Bush will be one of the better presidents in the long run. Look at Ronald Reagan. I remember many people disagreeing with him. But, now, he is seen as one of the great presidents. How soon everyone forgets W.'s response to 9/11. I was so proud to be an American and glad that W was there and not Al Gore!
