Anybody have any good ideas for natural remedies to help with arthritis?

I had back surgery a couple of years ago and now I have arthritis in my back. I can't afford to spend the money for the prescription my doctor wants me to take (even with insurance it's $125 a month). I've tried drinking cherry juice, which seems to help, and was wondering if there are any other natural remedies that might help.

I have horses, so I stay as active as I can with them, but some days I get out of bed and I'm so stiff and sore that I can't even stand up straight.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that... that must be so horrible.

There are actually several natural supplements that help joint health, which may remove the cause of the pain. The most popular are Microlactin, Tart Cherries (capsules are more potent than the liquids, typically), Glucosamine, Chondroitin, MSM, Hyaluronic Acid, Litozin/i-Flex (Danish Rose Hips), and Bromelain.

The only thing to really watch out for is allergies. Glucosamine is typically from Shellfish and Microlactin is from milk. As long as you're not allergic to those, you should have no problem. Good luck!

Imagine for a moment your arthritis completely vanishing right now.

If, in a moment, your pain and stiffness melted away. And your joints all of a sudden functioned like a well-oiled machine.

Like a magic wand was waived, you'd be able to jump up from your chair and run around the room like a kid.

And imagine that you'd never have to suffer as much as a pinch of arthritis stiffness or pain ever again.

I know this sounds impossible right now, but bear with me, because sometimes miracles happen.

It was a gift from a woman on the other side of the world. From the kindness of her heart, she took pity on my suffering and taught me how to completely reverse my arthritis.

Today, I want to do the same for you!

I had severe neck and back pain for about a month. The doctor gave me pain pills and muscle spasm pills but they didn't help and made me feel worse. I had read that taking Turmeric helps. So I tried some and it helped! I was shocked. I would recommend this to anyone in pain!! Good luck

The cause of arthritis is deterioration of the soft tissues which protect our joints, that’s why the bone starts to rub against each other and cause pain. The deterioration may be due to force of gravity on joints. The practice of yoga can help to correct your problem related to arthritis. They help the join function normally and reduce the risk of stiffness.

Please consult your doctor before starting yoga practices

That must be difficult with the horse riding.

Unfortunately there is nothing "natural" that has shown real benefit in dealing with arthritis. Glucosamine also has now been shown to be ineffective.

I suggest you see a medical specialist. Best of luck.

I've found a few things helpful for my bad back. A compressive back support has helped ease my pain as well as improved my posture too. My physiotherapist recommended I swim which has strengthened my back muscles as well as the gentle stretching exercises she gave me. C a physio who can give u specific advice for you...I found the expense really worth it.

My grandmother used to take that Shark cartilage and she said it helped her a lot but be careful they found you can take too much of it and it will

develop more cartilage than you need. Ask someone who knows more about it before you decide to be safe.
