In your opinion, who's the best team in college football?

It ain't Texas. But that's just my opinion.

Penn State is by far the best college football team in the nation this year. They have won every game by an average of 34 points. Their defense hasn't allowed over 24, and their offense hasn't scored under 20 all year. Their closest game was a 14 point win. AND their next game, althought it is against a weak, confused Michgan team, they have a 24 spread in their favor. They have been absolutely dominating every team, in every facet of the game. Multiple weapons on offense, defense and special teams. And they have the winningest coach in college football history. If they can somehow beat Ohio State in Columbus, which is THE HARDEST place to play a college football game, especially in the cold, they WILL be in the national championship game.

I am a diehard Ohio State fan, and I am scared to death about the match-up against Penn State in two weeks.

As of right now it got to be Texas as they beat the Sooners. But in reality it is still to early to tell who the best team is as the number one team fell once again. You never know how this college football season is going to be until the very last game of the season.

After last weekend I think it is florida. If they play like they did on saturday there isn't a team in the country that can hang with them they looked better than they did in the title game two years ago where they were dominant.

Luckily no one knows who I really am on this site Being an FSU fan my friends would crucify me for my pick especially the gator fans im friends with.

PS to the people extolling Penn State remember the big ten is weak this year and they have played no one.

There is not that one dominant team because it is too early to tell and parity is the order of the day in college football. What tells me that is how many different teams have been ranked-1 in the country this year?

It would not surprise me to see two one-loss teams play in the BCS National Championship in Miami.

I believe the best teams are in the SEC... Now as the best team goes It could be either Florida or Alabama... Im a Gators fan but the SEC championship game will decide it all and hopefully the gators prevail

If you mean the best team in college football history that would be The Michigan Wolverines. Go Blue! But given there current fall, and guesing you mean at the moment, I would say either Penn State or Alabama.

I will have to go with Florida on this one.

I know that Texas beat OU and Alabama beat Georgia...but Tebow and crew totally disassembled an LSU defense that's supposed to be super tough.

While the aforementioned wins were impressive, they were not the 30-point romp that Florida had. Even with their one loss, they are the team to beat.

I believe Penn State is the best team right now they just been blowing there opponents apart. There defense is just beastly like always. And there running game has been superb.

I'm crazy about Alabama this season. Although, Missouri has made an impression. It's only week 7.
