Adding sleeves to Crochet Shrug... Pattern Help plz?
ugh here we go again..... man this pattern is the most confusing ever....
ok so I crocheted the body part of the shrug ( its like a square), and fastened off........
now for the sleeves
it says, fold piece in half. Sleeves will be worked in ends of rows ( easy enough)
Rnd 1: Working in ends of rows, with RS facing, join with sc in end of first row, evenly sp 39 sc around, join with sl st in beginning sc ( 40 sc)
OK so I fold the piece in half w/ the right side facing....
so is the first row the last one i did? and also how can i make my sc's go around on the side of a square!?!?!??!?
thanks =D
Thanks Greco!! I understand than now, except I have like 20 rows.... so 39 into 20.....?
and how should i fold it? vertically or horizontally?

The first row is the last one you did. However many stitches or rows you have in your side you spread the 39 sc around that. When you join with the slip stitch you will be making a circle for the sleeve. That will be how you go around.
