Can we really trust your government with the economy?

Here is an example. In 1990 the IRS seized a brothel in Nevada (The Mustang Ranch) for tax evasion and tried to run it. They failed.

Now we are going to trust the economy to people who can't turn a profit running a whore house and selling booze.

Go to this website on paragraph 15 and 16 for a source.

The government never turns a profit, they are not businessmen.

We should be able to. We should absolutely be able to trust our government. It's big business and billionaires that you can't trust. That's why we are in this mess and why we are bailing out Wall Street. We live in a very sick and twisted society that allows this to happen. This is an outrage. We have people committing murders and suicides because of this financial crisis but it's ok if we take care of the speculative investors and Wall Street? WTF! So much for Christian values. What a sorry bunch of hypocrite scumbags.

Why isn't there a serious outrage? This means that our taxes will have to go up. If not taxes then our purchasing power will be further eroded so it's like a tax. What do we get for it? Has anyone done a cost benefit analysis? If so then why aren't we seeing the results?

There is no accountability and there is no responsibility. Isn't that what Republicans preach? They certainly don't believe it.

I trust the government over big business any day because the government is held accountable to task by people or should be. If people fall asleep then it's their own fault. Individuals can do nothing. We have to work together.

I am with you. I don't trust the government with much at all... besides collecting taxes.

Nope, but we don't really have a choice.
