What is wrong with PETA?
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090618/ap_on_go_pr_wh...
Peta would be a half decent organization if they had a little common sense. These boneheads need to get their priorities straight, really.
I thought I had heard it all. Only in America do we let murderers go but criticize people who swat flies.
4 AnswersCurrent Events1 decade agoCorn on the cob flavor popcorn.?
Whatever happened to ACT II brand corn on the cob flavored popcorn? It was the best tasting popcorn I have ever had. You could buy it around 2000-2003.
Orville Reddenbacher has a corn on the cob flavor but it sucks.
5 AnswersOther - Food & Drink1 decade agoWhy not make an airplane black box that floats?
Now they need to look in 2 miles of water for the thing. You would have though someone had thought of this before.
Either that or instead of a black box send all the information to a server via satellite, just recording over itself ever 20 minutes.
10 AnswersAircraft1 decade agoFlood in North Dakota, many volunteers.?
http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/weather/03/24/north.dak...
I find it interesting that there are so many volunteers 10,000+ that they had to turn them away. Quite a different picture than what we saw in Louisiana, a bunch of losers with their hands held out.
3 AnswersCurrent Events1 decade agoExercise and diet professional.?
I am motivated to change my diet and start getting more exercise in order to lower cholesterol and lose a little weight. What kind of professionals should I see to tell me what to do? I am only about 20 lbs overweight but my HDL cholesterol is too low indicating I need more exercise.
3 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoWas Joe the Plumber a plant?
I wondered this myself but when he asked Obama the question that was at his own house. Obama was canvasing the neighborhood and he stepped out of his own house to address the candidate. Those people standing around were his immediate neighbors. It was not at a rally or rope line.
If anything he was a plant for Obama.

11 AnswersElections1 decade agoCan we really trust your government with the economy?
Here is an example. In 1990 the IRS seized a brothel in Nevada (The Mustang Ranch) for tax evasion and tried to run it. They failed.
Now we are going to trust the economy to people who can't turn a profit running a whore house and selling booze.
Go to this website on paragraph 15 and 16 for a source.
http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D8QUMEJO0&...
The government never turns a profit, they are not businessmen.
3 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoWho to vote for based on Bailout?
I understand both McCain and Obama voted for the Bailout. Who else is there to vote for.
We really need some new people in Washington DC. They are supposed to be experts but are only looking out for themselves.

How can you tell if the honeymoon is over?
10 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoEducation importance in presidency?
How important is education to you when voting for president? We know who has the most, but we don't know who is the most intelligent. In the working world education does not equal money. Most of the nations millionaires are only high school graduates.
It seems that people who are overly educated only know what others have taught them (through textbooks and college professors) and are not very good at thinking and making decisions on their own.
So what are your thoughts? Do you vote for the one that went to the most expensive college? Remember Bush went to Harvard too.
19 AnswersElections1 decade agoWho would pay for bailout?
I've heard talk about taxing those who make 900,000 - 1 mill /year salaries. That sure doesn't include me but most of those people probably still work for a living. What about those that make 10's of millions for doing nothing. The CEOs of those banks and oil companies. They are part of the problem. Or maybe some of those politicians, they are making big money because they are supposed to know how to run the country but I am having my doubts. Most times the experts are the idiots only looking out for #1.
Look at the new washington mutual CEO salary. (Fishman)20mil
http://news.moneycentral.msn.com/provider/provider...
It looks like the old CEO Killinger was paid about 15 mil annually.
These are the stupid rich. It's not like they worked their way to the top through the family business, all they do is kiss *ss to the top.
5 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoHow to fly the US flag?
Is there a website or something tells when all the flags should be at half mast? Sometimes it is obvious but I sometimes see the flags at half mast and don't know why. I fly a flag in my yard and don't want to be disrespectful by not lowering it when I should.

7 AnswersCurrent Events1 decade agoElectric cars.......more environmentally harmful than gasoline cars?
People seem to think that electricity is the answer because as the end user it is clean. But how many people really think of where it comes from? Most of the electricity in the U.S. comes from coal. That's not clean, I'd rather burn gas. Other than nuclear, coal is one of the most effecient ways to make electricity. Here's a link to a chart from 2006.
