What's the background to the animosity between Joan R Anti B...and some of the other regulars on here?

Shannen I think Gart, Mrs.G & Doobs have more or less summed things up perfectly. But I will put my views as well seeing as how I had a sniping question posted about me this morning. Over the past year a few of the RTV regulars on here have gone through 'tough times' be it through losing very close Family, Illnessess with both themselves and again close family, Money & Job worries and other personal problems. I myself was diagnosed with Crohns Disease and had to give up my job at the Crown Court which I loved and one of my sons was a Coke Addict battling Re-Hab but neither I or the others came on here at 2 and 3 in the morning to ask sniping questions and vent our anger and bitterness at others. We came on here to have a laugh, Answer legitimate questions and forget our problems for a while all the while knowing we had the support of our Contacts/Friends if we needed it. Joan also had our support when her Brother died and also plenty of support when she was being targeted over in Parenting. Ok maybe I should of remembered that the anniversary of Joans Brothers Death was approaching and not answered Drone R's question but I didn't and for that Joan if you are reading my answer to Shannens question I do apologize but I'm telling you now never ever have I known or did know you associate Billy Bremner with your Brother so please don't lay that one at my door and others have said the same you have never mentioned that before.

Growing up, my dad was into the singer/songwriter folk of the 70's: Jim Croce James Taylor Gordon Lightfoot Cat Stevens Elton John BJ Thomas Dallas Holmes(A Christian version of a singer/songwriter) I also love rock-a-billy with bands like: The Stray Cats Reverend Horton Heat Southern Culture on the Skids Gene Vincent Eddie Cochran Growing up and living in south Louisiana you are exposed to great local blues and jazz acts. However I can't stand cajun/zydeco music. Finally I do like old/white trash country: Willie Nelson Johnny Cash Waylan Jennings Hank Jr. edit - Satanist - Add me to your list. I am just answering this Shannen because I am an RTV regular and have tried to support Joan in the past and any of the other regulars when they have needed it as they have me. You have the picture of what is going on and now it is time to put it all to bed - it has gone just too far.

She is so bitter and jealous because her son has married a smashing girl and has 3 lovely kids with her but Joan will do all that is humanly possible to split this family up.

I see Joan that you have been busy with the thumbs down with all your many accounts.

It looks like you Celts are getting a bit of a break from her venomous hate.

Liverpudlians seems to be Joan's new pet hate.

But then there are loads of Irish connections in Liverpool aren't there?

So maybe you ain't getting off that lightly.

Joan is responsible for all the thumbs down, she has loads of accounts, it's the only way she can get anyone to answer and agree with her hate filled rants against her Daughter-in-law and 9 year old grandson.

I have been on here for ages and I still don't know what all the fuss is all about. I even nip over to the parenting section sometimes to see if I can catch the 'happenings'....lmao

One minute people are fussing and the next they all seems to be best of friends and then they all start fussing again.

I could have got caught up in it when people started calling my name and blocking me because I was contacts with people they had fallen out with.....I couldn't give a toss about being blocked and I think the bad feelings on here is taken way out of context by everyone involved.

It has all been said to be honest!

We here on RTV are having a laugh one minute and then all hell breaks lose!

The Doc and Joan have a disagreement and since then, nasty things have been posted about most of us who where once Joan's contacts!

I received abusive emails sent in the early hours of the morning accusing me all kinds of things!!!!!!!!

She has targeted me publicly on the boards and via Y!A, when I retaliated, she went ballistic!

She even told me to stay away from parenting..........now I will go to whatever section I please!!!!!!!!

She cannot resist a dig…….she did it to me in your question tonight when she mentioned Terry Yorath and flying the flag!

WHY?

She accuses us of opening other accounts so we can answer her questions.......I answer her questions with this account, the one I have had from the beginning, July 15 2007, suspended a couple of times, yes, but still the same one!

I have been named by her as being MOAN R, who is posting questions in parenting..........this, is not me, I swear!

She just assumes things and in her grief and drunken stupor, posts questions and expects the rest of us to sit back and ignore it.......she would not, so why should I?

She should get her facts right before accusing us of things we do not do!

This is her downfall!

It was quiet for a while but it has now fired up again.

I can only think that this has something to do with the anniversary of her brother’s death, I do believe it was around this time last year he passed.

Here she has my condolences, I recently lost my niece in her twenties and it has had an affect on me, so I know what it is like to lose someone close to you so suddenly and so young.

But this does not give anyone the right to target people who disagree with you!

Unfortunately, witty banter is not in Joan's persona, mores the pity!

It is a shame, because while I grieve, I have had a great deal of support from my RTV contacts, it is a shame Joan would not allow us to support her in the same way!

Like other RTV users, I was not aware of the Billy Bremner connection until I read her answer on your page tonight!

I too was a contact with Joan...

But I will NOT tolerate friends of mine being vilified in the way she has done...

Shes has posted many questions about me....and sent me nasty emails.....

The Parenting Section know what she is like...so its not just us...

Anyway...its all been said before....you will never win with Joan....

Glad you asked that question Shannen, I've been wondering what all the nastiness was about, well we know now, think it's best the rest of us stay out of it
