If McCain's strength is security/foreign policy, then why is his top adviser pro-Saddam?

Reminiscent of Rumsfeld in his gun-running days, William Timmons, McCain's hand-picked presidential transition adviser, was Saddam Hussein's go-to guy to try to get sanctions lifted!

How can we trust McCain's judgment?

And... can you imagine if a Dem candidate dared to ally himself with the henchmen of "butcher of Baghdad?"

McCain has made too many suspect calls. He wanted to sell control of US ports to Dubai back in 2006, for one thing.

Believe it or not, I don't know if capturing and hanging Saddam Hussein was a mistake. But that insecurity keeps me awake sometimes when I should be sleeping. I remember seeing those men taunt him in the video until they hanged him. I hope I don't have to die like that.

I heard this story yesterday but I see the cable media hasn't picked up on it yet .. and probably won't.

    as for mccain the insane?

this man is old and senile. He probably doesn't even remember who saddam is at this point.

but it bothers me about his so-called 'top advisor".....
