Why won't my light work?

I have a 2002 Acura rsx and one of my lights are out. I've changed the bulb and it worked but was very dim, and cut out not long after. Any one have a clue what this could be?

Check the ground on the socket, that's the usual problem when they dim out. Just run a jumper from the base of the socket to a known ground. Did it brighten up? If so that's the problem, probably rust. You may have to change out the socket.

  • if you replaced the bulb and it still will not work i would check for a blown fuse. if the bulb got dim then failed you could have a few different problems like a loose connection that is hitting ground which would blow a fuse.
