Since McCain lost, Arnold Governator 2012 the best idea?

He's done a great job in California IMO, making state government accountable. Should he fight to overturn the "Must be born in USA to be president" law?

I heard Gary Colman is a Republican and he's going to run.

It would take a considerable amount of effort and political capital to push through an amendment to allow Arnold to run for the White House. If it were to be done, the candidate would have to be much better than Arnold.

  • You're joking right? The Govenator is the worst Governor EVER. I am sick to death that I voted for him at all. He's run this State into the ground and got a bail out from the Government for 7 billion dollars. Why doesn't he secure our border already? Ca. spends 7 - 8 billion dollars on illegal immigrant benefits and programs. He sucks.

Once Arnold figured out that CA didn't want a Bush clone and actually started listening to his constituents, he's done a lot better. That being said... no, he should not.

He can't run, he was not born a US citizen.

Also California is facing a $7 billion shortfall.

The State is in deep financial trouble under his tutelage.

CA is in a financial mess. Arnold was not born in US he can not be president.

It would take a constitutional amendment. Getting something like that passed in three years is simply impossible.

He is one republican I could vote for. Just have to change the law which will be tough

Austrians are eligible. I don't see that changing any time soon.
