Will Obama make you wealthy or will he make "Joe the plumber" lose his business?

Have Americans lost their pride? In the past when we were faced with adversity, we would roll up our sleeves and work our way through it, now we are willing to give our vote to a man who would rather throw the burden on the successful working mans back and penalize him so that he can "spread the wealth around".

A vote for Obama is a vote for socialism and the promise that you will get a few extra dollars and a few extra services which he can't even guaranty that he will be able to provide. Only a person who has no pride would choose to take a hand out over choosing work and fight for what you want and need.

So my fellow Americans, are you willing to swallow your pride and vote for Socialism? Have you lost your stomach for hard work? If so, OBAMA is your man!

    Obama never said that he was going to make anyone wealthy. You're taking his quote completely out of context.

    I don't know why Republicans are so stupid that they don't understand that not everything everyone says is to be taken literally. The "wealth" Obama was referring to was OPPORTUNITY, not MONEY.

    Hopefully after he becomes President, we'll put more MONEY into the educational system and make people smarter so they can understand that.

    Obama won't make me wealthy nor do I want him or anyone else to do that. I'm willing to live on what my work provides. It may be humble but I don't try to keep up with the Jones.

    What worries me is that people like Joe the plumber is a middle American like me and if Obama thinks he should spread some of Joe's hard-earned money around, I'm scared.

    From what Obama said to Joe I infer that Obama is not for the middle class at all but wants to improve the income of the poor. That may be commendable. I've been there too and I didn't like it. But better to provide incentive and help for people to find jobs than cut them off at the knees for wanting to buy a business.

    I don't like Joe The Plumber.... him and Joe Six Pack and Johnny Knuckels would probably beat me if I came into his neighborhood.

    P.S. I think Joe The Plumber is ALREADY losing his business...... so, Good Luck with the status quo!!!

    Only the people that want a free ride, and are too lazy to work will vote for the arab.
