What is best getting tubes tied via c-section or after delivery? ?

I did it at the same time as the c-section, by the time they had my son weighed and seen to with the other things the nurses needed to, I was already done and bc I was already prepped for the c-section, nothing extra was needing to be done and I still could hold my son at the same time as expected.

For me I did it last minute when I was told in the hospital that I was having emergency c-section that I would do my tubes tied and altho it was quick, I'd of wish I didn't make my rash decision. But for you who's already chosen to do so before the birth, you may as well get it done in one full swoop.Once the baby arrives you'll have to be away from the baby for the day possible night

If you need a c section, get the tubes tied at the same time, but if you can deliver vaginally go for it and get the tubes tied later. It's a smaller, same day surgery and would be better as an outpatient, unless you are going to have surgery anyways.
