How do some friends & myself send boxes of things to the soldiers in Iraq,we don't know anyone there?

troops in Iraq? We don't know anyone over there.Thank you.

    look up local soldier volunteer efforts in your area. They may need help. I worked with a group called MOMS in Cali. Mother's of Military Servicemen and women. Anywho, there should be some kind of info online. They have a great deal of knowledge of what is needed as well.

    Go to your local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post and ask for the Quartermaster. They have programs that send boxes and items out to troops. If they don't, they will know who does. You can locate your local VFW using the link below.

    There is a limit of 2 per day and 20 per month but you can request soldiers addresses on this website.

    go to your local recuiters office and they will help you get started.There are certain things you can't send. Such as liquids and chocolate that will melt.They need things such as magazines to read, snacks such as beef jerky, gum, crackers etc. The troops need us!

    there i an organization in Phoenix that does that, you can drop of stuff or donate money. You can contact them and ask if there is a local chapter where you live.
