What are two consecutive odd integers, such that seven times the smaller minus three times the larger in 86.?

    23 x7 = 161

    25 x 3 =75

    161 - 75 =86

    The consecutive odd integers are 23 and 25

    enable us to call the "smallest" integer "n". So the three consecutive integers are: n, n+a million, n+2 From what you have advised: 3(n+2) = n + n + a million + 40 seven 3n + 6 = 2n + 40 8 consequently n = 40 two the three integers are consequently: 40 two, 40 3, 40 4
