Siddle gets Tendulkar on debut?

It was a great effort by Tendulkar and he deserves full credit for it. For Siddle, a great effort. I always likes Steve Waugh's view that he didn't use night watchmen.

Tendulkar for wicket is a good omen. That will provide him a lot of energy while bowling tomorrow. (I remember Neil Johnson getting Tendulkar in both innings of Johnson's debut match).

The night-watchman was not necessary methinks. Dhoni is not a great deal in test matches. But it is better to shield a new batsman at the end of the day, so that he will start afresh the next day. Ishant did stay till the end which was the intent why he was sent in to bat (in the process, reaches 100 test runs).

And Ganguly has crossed 7000 runs too. Everybody is celebrating Tendulkar's record and ignored him.

Well done Siddle. Ishant, nightwatchman.. i don't know, but it has worked, so let's say Dhoni did the right think. If he can stay at the wicket for 30 minutes or so tomorrow, it will frustrate Brett Lee & Co, so may be a smart move. If he gets out early, no great deal.

peter siddle was very lucky that god looses concentration and plays a bad shot and really it was the best start to his carrer ,

i really appreciate aussies as they bowled their heart out and 5 wickets of premium batsman of this world is really an excellent performance ,

want to see how siddle perform in ashes .

ishant sharma as night watchmen was quite a surprising move

if kumble was fit and he was captianing the side,he wud have send dhoni to bat

it will be embarrassment for dhoni if he gets out cheaply tmrow ,coz he send ishant sharma to protect himself

I find it amazing that there aren't any indian answers claiming that Siddle "cheated" in order to take Tendulkar's wicket.
