tips for moving to australia?

hello i met a great girl from nsw we have talked lots and have spent three weeks together which in that time we traveled and got to know each of us so well. im 26 and a chef at the Moment but will do any work. i would like advice on visas etc any help would be great

Depending on where you come from, you may be able to come on a 12 month working holiday visa:

If you think you may actually want to become an immigrant and are a qualified chef, you will have little trouble getting a work visa. Australian immigration is strictly restricted to workers who have qualifications and experience in an occupation in which workers are in demand here, and chef (and cook) are amongst the most in demand jobs.

I am pretty sure that Chefs are in demand at the moment.  My wife is getting her brother to come out here, and he is a Chef.

immigration to australia is limited to skilled workers and is based on a points test
