looking for name of movie?

it has zooey deschanel in it i believe Part of the movie has a scene of a debutant ball were this young man wins a date with this "princess" who lives in a castle with mythical characters (goblins, fairies and the like).and no one seen the girl except at this ball.

Movie was on t.v., but don't remember what station.

I know it is not the Seeker.

think it was on the hallmark channel

    The movie is called Princess and it was on ABC Family.

    This sounds like the 'made for tv movie' or mini series based on the wizard of oz. It stars zooey deschanel and was broadcasted in 2007-2008. It is called:

    TIN MAN

    nothing sticks out to me that it would be except maybe Bridge to Terabithia

    It might be Once Upon a Mattress....that was a TV movie she was in.

    idk all i know is that she is an interesting actress. she's very pretty. She's been in some pretty intersting movies along the way too
