Corporate Sponsors for Athletes?
I am a high school volleyball coach that is looking for fundraising opportunities for about 30 girls to play club volleyball. Club volleyball really improves every athletes skill significantly as well as being the main source of college recruiting currently. Our girls really want to play club volleyball in hopes to play in college and earn a scholarship.
With that said, we are interested in writing letters to request corporate sponshorship for either individuals or the entire team as many of the girls cannot afford to play club (approximately $1200-1300 per girl.) Can anyone explain what steps I can take to a) identify who to send letters to / visit and b) supply a sample letter? thank you!!

dear HSVC go to your library and ask the librarian for a few examples of letters being used by non profit organizations. First go to the biggest beer distributor to see if they will donate their poster making computer and some time to teach one of the athletes involved in a graphics or art major. Then target the companies who's profits come from the age group of the athletes car dealerships, restaurants, retailers phone companies, cable tv, internet providers, markets, and the churches where the athletes attend services. you will have to produce a program and sell ad space to everyone but the banners in vinyl (the ones you are making yourself with the beer distributors help) you sell for a cool thousand dollars to fly in the gym the entire camp, season, whatever. the trade off is the beer company gets the sole rights to the picnic and a free banner hanging in the gym.
Source(s): Large beer distributers have this computer program and the tools to make those rivited vinyl posters to promote beer nights at bars and restaurants all over town....
