What exactly was Rev. Wright wrong about in his 45 second sound bit? ?
I want to open the door to this conversation because I am still confused on what was so wrong about what Rev. Wright said. When people speak the truth others want to stop listening, which is horrible. He was excessive and aggressive but not wrong. In the sound bit, at the NAACP Banquet, the Journalism gathering and the other gathering he went to when the idiot girl asked him something that made no sense, sorry for not being able to remember. However, i'm a factual and understanding sorta guy and I want to see how many of us out there believe that Rev. Wright was that much wrong for the comments... And please don't just stick to G D America, because i'm the first one to say I don't curse or use profane language but if I can cus this country leaders out sometimes I would!!!!! Oh, and the comment Michelle Obama made, what was so wrong with that.
Since when are we proud that ppl are sleeping on the street. When our president couldn't send sufficient help to Hurricane victims. When people are still messed up from Hurricane Katrina. When peoples insurance after 9/11 kicked them to the curb. When people were not compensated for working non-stop after 9/11. When we were lied to about 9/11. When there is a war going on right now based on lies.
Just let me know what was so wrong about these peoples comments and why do we hate it when people speak out about our vicious ways? Oh bring up whom ever you feel is fair game I was just noting somethings that came to mind quickly....

You're choosing to distort and oversimplify the facts about 9/11, Katrina, the homeless, etc. to fit your scenario. If you think our ways are"vicious", you are very, very naive and complacent. Does the US do everything right? NO. Are we good, caring, unselfish people the majority of the time, yes.
Someone who preaches hate should be called out on it. Rev. Wright has been taken to task and rightfully so. Michelle Obama has had a bounty of good things in her life because she's an American. Tearing it down in public is selfish and ungrateful.

Who is happy people are sleeping on the streets? I'm not. I think they are idiots. There are plenty of places for them to go. They choose not to go because they have to follow rules.
ALRIGHT! I am white and I live in New Orleans, LA (the French Quarter). I am sick and tired of people using the excuse that New Orleans did not receive money from the president. We received money! A large amount of it! The only people that are "messed up" from Katrina are the blacks who don't get off their lazy asses! I have to hear it everyday on the news, I have to walk the streets everyday and have people come up to me begging me for money, and I am sick of it! The storm happened more than three years ago!! It happened, move on!
You want to know what is wrong with Michelle Obama's and Rev. Wright's comments? Let's see Michelle says she has never been proud of her country until her black husband becomes a possible democratic nominee for president. How unpatriotic! And then to turn around and say she didn't mean what she said she meant something else. We all know what you meant, Michelle. And Rev. Wright, God damn America, Whites created Aids to get rid of the blacks (are you serious? you really want to know why that is wrong?) Go on youtube.com and watch some videos of rev. wright. Go read Obama's books. IF YOU DON'T FIND ANY OF THAT OFFENSIVE, THEN YOU ARE EITHER STUPID, IGNORANT, OR BLACK! YOUR PICK!

I guess if racism is ok then nothing was wrong with it. And I found what Michelle Obama said was insulting. She pretty much said for once she was proud od America, I guess since her husband was running for president. I have many proud moments of America. I want the leader of my country to have proud moments too and just "once" I think Obama is a racist and shows it with attending a racist church for 20 years and referring to Wright as his "father figure and mentor" remember "birds of a feather flock together" Obama is an imbarrasment and disgrace to this country.

Wright is guilty of making treasoness and unpatriotic statements about America.
It is hard to believe that Wright is an ordained minister.
It is possible that Wright also has racist attitudes toward White people; this is only a hunch though...
Wright is another example of the weirdos and losers that Obama hangs around.

He has the right to his opinion, but religion and politics is a touchy subject, mostly because religion created politics and nobody likes to remember that. BO wanted to wash his hands clean of all untouchables before he ran for office.

If you don't know you are part of the problem and no amount of explanation would convince you otherwise.
The Government did not invent AIDS to kill minorities, God Damn America is not a very smart thing to say, and white greed runs about as far as anyone else's greed.

He was only speaking the truth and it's not like those words came from Obama's mouth.
People just can't handle the truth.
