If someone cuts your hair without permission, can you sue them?
If someone threatens to bring scissors (scissors for like paper) and they cut pieces of your hair off without your consent, can you sue them? I know you can sue for anything but what is the likelihood of such a case winning.
You don't have an option of getting away from them if they sit behind you in a class.

i guess but you would have to pay allot for a Lawyer and stuff so i don't think it would be worth it plus hair grows back.
oh "in class" just tell ur teacher or something or cut their hair, you don't wanna sue someone from school over hair that would be stupid. surely you can just say you want to move places

You don't stand a chance of even getting this into court. Your hair grows back. Since that means no permanent injury or loss, a judge won't waste their time on this one. You will, however, be able to register a complaint with the principle, and they will be suspended from school for a brief period.
And Ms. Executiv with her half naked body is dead wrong. Pain is not the defining factor of a felony. Since you are in school, that means you are underage. The laws are different for minors vs. adults.

ABSOLUTELY! THat is considered assault.
How do I know? Well, in hs we didn't like this girl so we got her drunk and cut her hair. She tried to press charges but couldn't remember very much. We all said that she did it to herself. Cops took our side and that was that.
You do not have to file in criminal court, either. You simply have the cops press charges. They will obtain restitution in your favor. It may be $500.00 for your case.
Yes, you should file charges. Inform the principal's office that you are going to do so. This will assist you when the police investigate. That person will be removed and a restraining order may be granted if you feel that she or he will do it again.
Do not allow them to get away with it. AND, say that they pulled your hair and you felt pain. If you state that you felt pain in any way, that escalates to a felony! (Depends on how much you hate the person) They will pay. Oh yes, they will pay.
Don't let them get away with it!

I don't know about suing them and how that would stand up, but your hair is part of your being, so that would be assault if it was done against your will. And you could certainly press charges and get some legal advice from there.

It's assault and therefore criminal. I don't think you can sue them unless for some reason your hair is central to your image or income.

Assault and battery. Go after them criminally. Get them convicted. Then explore the civil options.

How would that even happen? If you don't want them to cut your hair, don't go near then!
