What if you were Joe the Plumber?

Attacking "Joe the Plumber" is much easier than addressing the question he asked...

The question asked is what matters, not the person asking the question. Insulting "Joe the plumber" to distract from the question asked and the answer received does NOT change the FACTS.

The FACT is Obama will raise taxes on any business grossing over 250k a year (which is NOTHING for a company, most companies make MUCH more than this), which will not only hurt the employer, it will also affect the employees he has working for him. An employer will recoup his losses through increased taxes by raising the cost of goods and services to American consumers, and by offering his employees less pay, fewer hours, reduced benefits, and/or fewer employees...this will affect MILLIONS of Americans.

My father had a small restaurant with about 10 employees that grossed about 500K a year...in his best year, he actually CLEARED about 60k (but since he GROSSED over 250k, he's in Obama's higher tax bracket)...not rich by anybody's standards...except Obama's.

In away I feel sorry for Joe the Plumber after the media started hounding him.

He is a true patriot as he managed to have Obama explain his views on distribution of wealth.

We now know that the successful workers will be punished for making an excellent salary and the worker will be required to hand in part of his pay check as part of Obama's economic plan.

BTW we are middle class Americans and have never seen $250,000 a year. Obama's plan would probably benefit us, but we do not agree with redistribution of wealth. It seems to be leaning towards socialism.

Americans have always stood for individualism and Obama's plan would undermine that.

If I were Joe the plumber I wouldn't be wasting my time trotting up to a politician with a question that is about as attainable as Joe walking on water. Everyone has dreams. When you open up your mouth with various claims you have some validity to them. Obama, is not in charge of nor did he send the media anywhere near this man's house. The media researched this man and put his business in the street. How long and exactly how much will Obama continue to be blamed for. McCain Obviously planted the Keating 5 offspring as to the reason why McCain mentioned this man 21 times in the debate to Obama's 4 times. Joe at any point and time has had the opportunity to opt out he has enjoyed the attention until the media started asking him real questions about his license he then became defensive. I will be elated when his 15 minutes of fame is over I am sick of hearing about this man and Obama being blamed. At least tell the truth when you post things. McCain has drug this man through the mud. Obama, asked the question and rightfully so how many plumbers do you know who make 250K

No its not OK but he is "slick" like the last dem. President, and all the accusations will get nowhere with a press that adores him. This is not just a snippet, it will be the end of the free market and an end to "all men are created equal" he will see to that.

If I were Joe the Plumber, I believe I'd be terribly ashamed of, and quite disillusioned with, my country right now for allowing what has happened to him by Obama's people & the media.

I knew it was going to happen by the 3rd time they brought up Joe's name. I've heard how he was a republican plant, he's not registered to vote, etc. Regardless, he achieved a extraordinary feat.... he got Obama to tell the truth! He says to Joe, I don't care as long as you make this much money I will make you "spread the wealth". He exposed "Barry" for who he is and what he stands for ~ SOCIALISM ~.

Barack Obama turned his back on Martin Luther King and sold out to the Democrats that your people had to fight against just to be able to live free and vote. Will you join him and sell out also ?

So are you now going to vote for the party that only stopped doing all those things because the REPUBLICAN party FORCED them to stop and would still be doing all of it today if the republicans did not make them stop ?.............. think long and hard before you vote !!!!!!
