If you're pregnant, or trying to get pregnant, please read...?

I got pregnant on the first try. I don't know how common that is. I used an ovulation prediction kit and had been off BC and taking prenatal vitamins for over six months in preparation. I am 38 and I was told at my age it could take a year or more. I know lots of women who had problems getting pregnant, so you just never know.

I got pregnant the first month we started trying. I have a very regular cycle so just doing some online reading let me know around the best time to get pregnant was. To be honest, we just had a lot of sex and it happened right away.

We are very lucky though, I know some women who have been trying for a year or more to get pregnant and nothing is working. The only positive thing I can say from them is that everything happens when it is supposed to.

It it took us almost a year the first time that ended in a m/c ...THEN I got pregnant exactly a year later with our second pregnancy which is now. I m/c on October 16, 2007 and so we've passed that landmark. It seems like it has taken us a year for each pregnancy.

I never used any type of pill form birth control, just condoms for 8 years with the same partner. When we decided to get pregnant it only took 1 try. I didnt think it would happen that fast!

I got pregnant the first time I went off the birth control pill with everyone of my three children! Some women and men are so compatible and others are not in this area. It is different for everyone, and it is not just the woman...the man can be the problem too! I swear my husband just looked at me and I got pregnant! :)

I got pregnant the first time (this baby was an accident) so I am not much help. Some woman have to work at it, for some it just happens. Keep trying, you'll get there.

I tried getting preggo in the beginning of sep but i missed my ovulation date. Then my husband got a job that works him 6 days a week but he works at night. We got lucky and i ovualted sunday and we always did the BD on sundays and we did it 2 times that night so i guess that helped and i found out almost 2 weeks ago that i am preggo.

It took us almost 11 months and fertility meds to get pregnant but I was having problems ovulating.

It took us a year trying to get pregnant, but I had irregular periods.

I guess everyone is different and it just depends, but it took us over a year to get pregnant.
