Is there software that can determine if an image's colors fall within the sRGB gamut?

I can "develop" my camera's raw image files into either sRGB or the larger AdobeRGB. I'd like to be able to develop them to AdobeRGB then check the image to see if all (or enough) of the colors actually fall within the sRGB gamut, and, if so, redevelop to sRGB to get the finer color resolution. Is there a program that can check that?

Update:

Thanks Niner!

I was able to find how to do that in GIMP. I'm now checking with a profile downloaded from here - http://www.color.org/prmg_gamutwarning.xalter - until I can extract an ICC file from what my raw processing program produces.

Adobe Photoshop can check the sRGB gamut.

I am using an old version, but you open your image and toggle View / Gamut Warning on. Or Shift+Ctrl+Y.
